Dugongi is a technology company founded in 2024 by a Finnish developer who got fed up with clickbait headlines. Our company name comes from the dugong, a sea creature that's about as graceful in water as I am at coding (which is to say, not very graceful, but incredibly determined).

I focus on solving small but annoying problems through technology. My creation, Headline Cleaner, was born out of pure frustration - and now it's saving thousands of people daily from the headache of clickbait headlines.

While I'm a one-person company, I have big dreams. I believe technology should make life easier, not more complicated. And if I can make people smile along the way, then I know I'm doing something right.

Currently, the team consists of me, one AI (who claims to be the smartest team member), and a few magpies who regularly visit my office in the attic of my house. The magpies serve as unintentional break coordinators by tapping on the windows, reminding me that it's good to look away from the screen every now and then.
