Dugongi is a technology company founded in 2024 by a Finnish developer who got fed up with time-wasting clickbait headlines. The company name comes from the dugong – perhaps not the most graceful sea creature, but certainly determined, much like our approach to problem-solving.

We focus on solving everyday digital annoyances with practical technology. Headline Cleaner was born from that frustration with misleading headlines. Now, it helps thousands daily cut through the noise and understand the news faster. Though currently a one-person operation (plus a helpful AI and some avian office visitors!), the vision is bigger: to create tools that genuinely make your online life simpler and more enjoyable. If we can bring a bit of clarity (and maybe a smile) to your day, we're on the right track.

The team currently includes myself, one AI assistant (self-proclaimed smartest member), and a few magpies who provide essential break reminders by tapping on the attic window. It keeps things interesting!
