How does Headline Cleaner work?
Headline Cleaner works like a diligent assistant that reads the news for you. When you visit a supported news site, we find all news links and send them to our server, where our AI (which is surprisingly clever) creates new, more sensible headlines.
You can also customize how the headlines are transformed. For example, our AI can find a positive angle in even the gloomiest news, or if you're feeling playful, it can be a bit mischievous - just for fun.
The browser extension itself is actually quite a simple tool. It just sends supported news links to our server and waits for better headlines. Since it needs to read links from the page and replace headlines in place, it requires permission to read the content of the sites you visit. Don't worry - our application has passed Google's, Firefox's, Microsoft's, and Apple's testing with flying colors.
